the new year is right around the corner. It’s still hard to believe that it will soon be 2023. How time flies! January feels just like yesterday, however soon it will be that time of the year once again. Here in the southern hemisphere the sun has been shining, yet for many of our community the wintery holiday season has been in full effect. Hope everyone has been enjoying this special time of year, spent with friends, family, on holidays, much needed R&R or whatever tickles your fancy.

Limelight has had a longer than normal break between issues as we got sought to match the timing of our final installment with the end of the year. That means this is a bumper issue, with more content than usual. Consider it a holiday gift! There’s plenty to unpack, so let’s dive in!

AMR News: We just hit 2,000 followers on Twitter! Two issues ago in September we celebrated 1,000 and here we are just 90 days later, having doubled that. Super grateful for everyone who has decided to join our growing community and appreciate all the support. Thank you for being awesome! 💚

And following our initial brief first take, we decided to conduct a comprehensive review of Zero Co’s home cleaning and body care lines. We put these eco-friendly items to the test, using them for over a month to see how these sustainable solutions stacked up.

Rounding out December, it was time for our final entry in the 2022 plant-based and vegan Chocolate Review Series. The third round featured a variety of weird, wonderful and wild treats from all corners of the globe. This one was really fun to put together and we’ll soon be crowning an overall champ in the new year. Dig chocolate? Then dig this! 🍫

We are also right in the thick of the holiday season, with Xmas behind us and New Year’s Eve right around the corner. It’s the time of year when things begin to slow down, yet there is still so much to cover and share with you. Be it global events, the latest changemaker causing positive ripples, new solutions or hidden gems, it feels like every day is another opportunity to broadcast some awesome into this world.

With that said, have a wonderful end of year celebration and may you all have an amazing start to 2023. Our focus for next year is not just to be better, but be the best we’ve ever been. A big bet, but one we are excited to work toward. There are huge things in the works and we are very much looking forward to sharing our ambitious plans in the coming days.
